Unnat Bharat Abhiyan
  • A monthly review meeting of the activities carried out under Unnat Bharat Abhiyan was conducted at Vidyalaya Central Office on 07th March 2023. Dr. G. Subramonian, Principal, Dr. R. Ayyappan, Dr. K. Rajamanickam, Assistant Professor and Dr. N. N. Prapakaran, Coordinator – Extension Services Department participated in the meeting.
  • Under Unnat Bharat Abhiyan, house-hold surveys at Agrahara Samakulam Village were conducted on 23rd February, 09th and 10th March 2023. Dr. S. Swaminathan, Coordinator – UBA, Dr. K. Rajamanickam and Dr. S. Ramesh along with thirty-four (34) student teachers participated in the survey. A total of three-hundred and thirty (330) houses were surveyed.

  • In continuation with the Spiritual Retreat (Andaryogam) program for Management non-teaching staff of Vidyalaya Institutions held on 20th November 2022 through Department of Extension Services, a session on familiarizing the Welfare schemes of both Central and State Governments was organized. Among the participants, one participant named Mrs. Maragadham working as a sweeper in Swami Shivananda School hostels got sanctioned with Tamil Nadu Government Destitute Women Pension Scheme with Rs.1000/- per month for life time.
  • Unnat Bharat Abhiyan periodic meeting was held at Vidyalaya Central Office on 07th February 2023. Dr. S. Swaminathan, Co-ordinator-UBA, Dr. R. Ayyappan, Assistant Professor and Dr. N. N. Prapakaran, Co-ordinator – Department of Extension Services participated in the meeting.
  • Under Unnat Bharat Abhiyan, a house-hold survey at Agrahara Samakulam Village on 09th February 2023 was conducted. Dr. S. Swaminathan, Coordinator, UBA, Dr. R. Ayyappan, Assistant Professor and twenty (20) II Year student teachers participated in the survey. A total of ninety-one (91) villagers from the locality were surveyed.
